BIO ART: LIVING ART

In my studio/lab I grow paper from a yeast/bacteria culture, and I use the paper to make art. The paper is translucent and smells like vinegar. It conforms to objects and dries to the consistency of a fruit leather. The sculpture I make is based on extremophile organisms and other life forms that are found in hostile environments like caves and deep ocean volcanic vents.
